Results


The project delivers both academic and industrial results. Academic results are new models and methods about improved means of managing the quality of data. They are delivered in the form of scientific publications. Industrial and practical results are gained through the real-life case studies that provide empirical data for the creation and validation of the models. Local findings are shared with the case study participants.

The Best Paper Prize

The paper ‘Transparency of Hospital Productivity Benchmarking in Two Finnish Hospital Districts’ by Sami Laine and Erkka Niemi won the best paper prize in the 29th annual Patient Classification Systems International (PCSI) Conference. The paper is based on multidisciplinary research collaboration between Department of Computer Science and Engineering  (CSE) and Department of Information and Service Economy (ISE) in Aalto University.
